What SocialClevr stores, why, for how long, and who it's shared with. The controller is Joffrey Bonifay (joffrey@joffreyio.com).
What we store
About you: your X account (id, @handle, name, profile picture), the access tokens X gives us (encrypted), your settings (language, Clevr), your Clevr Points and usage counts, your scheduled posts, and follower counts over time for your analytics.
About the people who reply to you: their name, @handle, profile picture and the text of their reply, as X shows them, so we can display your conversations without paying X again for each read.
We don't sell any data and don't use it for advertising.
Why, and on what basis
Your data: to provide the service you signed up for (performance of the contract).
The data of the people who reply to you: our legitimate interest, and yours, in showing and answering the replies you get. It only covers what they posted publicly in reply to you.
How long
Your account data: as long as your account exists. It's erased when you delete your account.
The cached replies: a conversation you haven't opened for 30 days is erased.
Who processes it
Supabase (database, hosted in the EU), Vercel (hosting, and visit statistics without cookies), X Corp (your X account, through its API), and xAI (the Grok AI: the texts of the replies you ask to explain or answer are sent to it). Payments will go through Stripe, which handles card details itself: we never see them.
Vercel, X and xAI are based in the United States. Transfers there rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Cookies
Only what the site needs to work: a session cookie to keep you signed in, a short-lived one during sign-in with X, and one for the language you picked. Your light or dark choice stays in your browser. No advertising or tracking cookies, so no consent banner.
The landing page shows a MakerProfit badge, loaded from makerprof.it.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, export or erase your data, or object to its use, by writing to joffrey@joffreyio.com. We answer within a month.
If you replied to a SocialClevr user and want your reply removed from our cache, write to the same address.
You can also complain to the CNIL (cnil.fr), the French data protection authority.
